We caught up with the founder, Camp Director, and Chief Heart Officer, Laura Kriegel, to better understand how CampBrain helps Stomping Ground achieve their goals and makes her feel.

How does CampBrain help you connect with campers and their families?

Laura: CampBrain holds all of the information for the relationships that our business is built on. CampBrain has made it possible for us to have more personal connections with each family. I think that’s what our business is built on. That’s what all camp businesses are built on – the relationship that you build with not only the kids, but the families and the support system for those kids. CampBrain allows us to keep track of that information and utilize it in a way that really builds trust and relationships.

How do you feel when you receive an email from CampBrain?

Laura: When I see a camper registration come in in my email and I get the CampBrain in my inbox, I always get a boost of dopamine <laugh>. It’s alwaysthe best part of my day, knowing that a family has gone through the registration process and signed up and that they were able to get included in our big family. And CampBrain helped us do that.

What’s been your experience with CampBrain support?

Laura: One word I would use to describe CampBrain is receptive. When I have a piece of feedback, I can bring it to the support team and it often gets integrated into the system. This year we brought on a new full-time camp director. They (the camp director) now own all of the contact information and the relationships that Stomping Ground is built on. I knew that when I introduced them to CampBrain and the support team that they would be taken care of if they needed anything on the back end.
