I grew up going to camp and later worked at aquatic day camps through parks and recreation — experiences that shaped how I see community, connection, and the lasting impact of recreation. Now, I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of an organization that shares those same values and plays a role in building the “village” that supports and uplifts the next generation. What makes it even more meaningful is getting to work alongside passionate, like-minded people who believe in this work just as much as I do — people who know that creating spaces where kids can grow, explore, and feel like they belong is how we build strong, healthy communities.
