We met with Camp Director Gillian Moore, who gave us some insight into how CampBrain is “the heartbeat” of their camp.

How would you describe CampBrain in one word?

Gillian: One way to describe CampBrain would be the heartbeat of our camp. It’s the central thing that functions everything.

Why have you been using CampBrain for so long?

Gillian: I think the reason why we’ve stuck with CampBrain for so long is because it’s such a simple system to use. If we ever have an issue, I would ring up and speak to somebody in support. The patience that is shown through support, the guidance, it’s first class. I would go as far as to say that it’s the best customer support service that I’ve ever had using any other product. That’s why I wanna stick with CampBrain because it’s become like a friendship. It’s become like a family and they are 100% there for us.

How has CampBrain changed your business?

Gillian: CampBrain has changed our business in the way that reporting system, any member staff who needs to run off a report, it’s very quick, it’s very easy, it’s very instant. On a day-to-day basis running camp, we can access any information straight away. Financially it’s helped our business because if I’m needing to produce reports on a financial basis, that information again is there. It’s a hand, it’s very clear, and it’s a real clear vision that we have.

How has the CampBrain system impacted your parent experience?

Gillian: The impact that CampBrain has had with regards to our parents I honestly can tell you that I very rarely have any parent ringing up who’s struggled to use the online registration process. It’s very simple, it’s very straightforward. It’s very important to us because obviously when they go onto the online registration, it’s the first time they’re going to use something that is directly related to the camp experience. To have very few people have any issue is wonderful for us. I know that it works. It’s a great experience all round.

What value does CampBrain provide for your camp?

Gillian: The value it provides is unprecedented. We wouldn’t use any other system because we know that it’s really important for our staff who use the CampBrain system for our parents, for our users. The value is priceless to us.
