Hi everyone, Josh here from the Business Development team. This past Fall for our Business Team was a different one. Typically Jeff, Jared and I would be packing our bags and our CampBrain conference booth to head to conferences all over North America. This is something that we truly love to do. We get to meet with you and catch up on the past year in camping and CampBrain, plus build new relationships.

With conferences going virtual this year, we have tried to attend and support as many different ones as possible this past Fall. We participated in 8 virtual conferences to date. While we haven’t booked all of our remaining conferences for this year, we can confirm we will be in attendance at ACA National from February 3rd to 4th, 2021 and the Northeast Camp Conference from March 9th to the 11th.

While virtual conferences are not the same as the in-person experience, they have been a nice, new way to engage with you and the camp world. If you are attending ACA National or the Northeast Camp Conference, pop in to say hi to us, we would love to hear from you and chat about anything you may need from CampBrain.

We also continue to sponsor, and take great pride in sponsoring the following initiatives. Being a part of these three amazing initiatives has made the adjustment to an all virtual season that much easier.

Women in Camp Summit

This will be our third year sponsoring this conference. In previous years, we sent a few clients to this conference, covering their travel and conference fees. While we won’t have the same opportunity this year with a virtual conference, we still wanted to sponsor this great initiative. Summer Camp Con

Fun fact: this was the first virtual conference of its kind – even before the virtual conference influx of 2020. This will be our third year sponsoring this conference and it’s FREE to attend. There will be 100 sessions offered over the course of four months. We have sponsored their Administration Summit on January 4^th to 5^th, 2021.

Camp Owners Podcast

This podcast aims to explore “issues and best practices that professionals in the private camp industry face every day.” While it is geared towards private camps, the topics can be implemented at any camp. Tune in and learn!
